Shyam Benegal is set to make a film on Buddha's life
This is nothing new in Bollywood! Filmmakers follow the trend of making films on celebrities or subjects and multiple films are made on same subject at one go. We have witnessed the same in the past, be it Heer Ranjha or Bhagat Singh, the examples are many.
Now get set for Gautam Buddha who is all set to take over Bollywood in the near future. While Shyam Benegal is set to make a film on Buddha's life, another south- produced film on him will release shortly. And if that is not enough, one of the corporations is backing a producer with similar theme. Haven't they heard "too much of anything is harmful"?
