Welcome is director Anees Bazmee's next film after No Entry (obviously that is if one ignores the Govinda starrer, Sandwich!).

The plot is about the attempts of Don Uday Shetty (Nana Patekar) to marry off his sister Sanjana (Katrina) into a respectable family and of Dr. Ghungroo (Paresh Rawal) to marry off his nephew Rajeev (Akshay Kumar). Majnu (Anil Kapoor) is Uday's partner in crime and RDX (Feroz Khan) is their boss! The complications and confusions, which thereby arise, form the rest of the plot.

The film draws inspiration from Kelly Makin's Mickey Blue Eyes. This one is a laugh riot. Ask no questions and you will not be disappointed at all.

Akshay Kumar as the simpleton is just too good and once again proves his mettle as a fantastic actor. Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar are excellent and bring the house down. Feroz Khan is ok and Katrina Kaif manages to look pretty. Paresh Rawal is fantastic and is one of the highlights of the film. Mallika Sherawat and Vijay Raaz are also part of this no-brainer and they do a commendable job. Suniel Shetty puts in a cameo and is pretty average in it. Supriya Karnik, Snehal Dhabi and Mushtaq Khan form rest of the supporting cast.
Cinematography by Sanjay F Gupta is as good as it can get in this genre of a film. Locales of South Africa and Dubai have been shot very well. Though special mention must be made about the tacky special effects. Amongst the songs "Oonch Lamba Kadh" and "Tera Sarafa" (by Anand Raj Anand) are good, but the rest of the songs are pretty mediocre.

Rajiv Kaul and Praful Parekh along with Anees Bazmee write this script with the sole intention of making only those people laugh who do not ask questions about logic or continuity. Due credit must be given to the director Anees Bazmee for extracting fantastic performances and making a thorough entertainer. And when they said "leave your brains at home", they actually meant it! Do it and you will enjoy this one!
