'Sarhad Paar' is a story about the faith and courage of Indian people, as well as a tale of heroism.
After being declared missing in action when he inadvertently crossed the border, patriotic soldier Ranjit Singh (Sanjay Dutt) finally returns home to his wife Pammi (Tabu) and his sister Simran (Mahima Chaudhary), but not before undergoing trauma and torment as a prisoner. Even as he is recuperating in an army hospital, he sees a face every time he closes his eyes, only to reopen them in a state of confusion. Without his memory, he only remembers this face…his roving mind always searching for its identity.

Happy to be reunited with him but shocked to see his condition of amnesia, Pammi and Simran try to help Ranjit get his memory and life. When things look all in vein, Pammi begins to give up hope. Simran, on the other hand, vows to bring Ranjit back to the way among the living. With the support of her betrothed folk singer Ravi (Chandrachur Singh), she promises to find a way.
Their efforts pay off and Ranjit begins to remember what happened and the man who caused all his torment - Bhaktavar (Rahul Dev), a mercenary terrorist associated with traitors in India. Ranjit fights the enemy within himself and eventually takes revenge for the cruelties he suffered and the hardships his family had to face while he was in captivity. Pammi supports him and tries to recapture the glorious moments with her husband. Simran becomes caught in the emotional dilemma between supporting her brother and fulfilling her marital commitment to Ravi.
Will Rajit be successful in conquering the evil and repaying Bhaktavar for all the torment he has caused. Will Pammi be able to support him through whatever decisions he makes in doing so? Will Simran and Ravi remain together through all of it? Be at the theaters on April 22nd to find out.
