'Babul' has once again come to a standstill, as it is awaiting clearance to shoot some crucial climax scenes at the Mumbai International Airport. Chopra is awaiting the green light from the airport authorities to can those important shots.
The final schedule of the film was slated to be over by mid-August. Due to recent security developments and airports being declared high-risk zones the shoot schedule was delayed to a considerable extent.
The initial plan was to release 'Babul' in October, to coincide with the Diwali/Eid releases. 'Babul' will now release on December 8th.
